St. Luke’s is delighted to announce the appointment of Scott H. Atchison as Artist-in-Residence following 44 years as Director of Music at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church. USA Today once named Peachtree Road United Methodist Church as one of the top ten places in the country to experience heavenly sacred music. Scott chose St. Luke’s as the place he wished to be affiliated following his retirement in September. We are honored to have him join our dynamic team of musicians.

An Artist-in-Residence shares their highly developed skills, wisdom, knowledge, and ideas, for the benefit of a community or organization. In this unique role, Scott joins Matthew Michael Brown, Jon Easter, and Colleen Kingston by sharing his superb skills as a first-rate organist, a relentless creative energy, and solid support for our robust music program. His presence and affiliation with St. Luke’s will only elevate and enable our music program to reach new heights in the years to come. Scott’s first Sunday with us will be the Feast of St. Luke on Sunday, October 18. His e-mail address is scott@stlukesatlanta.org. Please give Scott a warm St. Luke’s welcome!
