Welcome the Pride Parade with Us | October 11

What does welcome look like on a busy Atlanta afternoon? At St. Luke's, it looks like cold water, an open restroom, and a place to pause.
Each October, we set up outside the church during the Pride Parade to offer water to participants and spectators passing by. Last year, we handed out more than 1,000 bottles and kept our restrooms and worship space open throughout the afternoon. It's a simple, joyful way to celebrate and support our LGBTQ+ family, friends, and neighbors.
No experience is needed. Volunteers hand out water and help direct guests to the restrooms. Bring a friend if you like, the more of us out front, the better.
Because of street closures, worship that morning will be at 8 a.m. as usual, followed by one combined service at 10 a.m. in place of the 9 and 11:15 a.m. services. A light lunch for volunteers will be served at 11:30 a.m., before the parade begins at noon.
Please register even if you already know you're coming. Our lunch count comes from the registration list.
